
Muscat: Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) celebrated the National Day of Oman with immense patriotic spirit and enthusiasm.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest H.E. Sheikh Najeeb bin Saleh Mohammed Al Zadjali, Member Majlis Al Shura, and Guest of Honour Dr. Saif Al Busaidi, Advisor to the Ministry of Labour, Oman, along with the Chairman Board of Directors Mr. Ameer Hamza, distinguished guests including representatives from the Ministry of Education; Mr. Ishrat Hussain Bhatti, Commercial Attaché, Embassy of Pakistan, and Mr. Louis, Head of Academics, Qurum International School, Dr. Said Saleem Al-Kitani, Associate Dean for Community Engagement, MCBS, Embassy officials, members of the Board of Directors, Senior Principal, Principal, faculty members, students, parents, and community members.
PSM students from the Computer Department who secured positions in an IT event organised by Mazoon College were awarded certificates by the honourable representatives of the Ministry of Education.
The students who participated in the Model United Nations (MUN) were also awarded with MUN certificates by the Chief Guest in recognition of their commendable participation.
Youngsters of PSM presented a vibrant Fancy Dress Show showcasing traditional Omani attire, which was warmly applauded by the audience. Students gave out performances through Omani national songs and tableaux, celebrating the true spirit of the National Day.
The winners of the Art Competition were also honored with certificates by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Saif Al Busaidi.
Mementos were presented to the esteemed guests in recognition of their presence. The Chief Guest commended the school management for organising such a memorable event. The programme concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and heartfelt wishes for the progress and prosperity of Oman.
