
Muscat: The Ministry of Health has issued a public health warning regarding the recall of certain Nestlé baby milk products due to potential contamination with a substance known as Cereulide.
Citizens and residents are urged not to use the affected products and to verify batch numbers against the recall list provided. While no illnesses linked to the products have been reported in Oman as of the time of the announcement, the ministry recommends disposing of any suspected items immediately.
In case of symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, or abdominal pain, individuals are advised to seek medical attention at the nearest health facility without delay.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that it has taken all necessary measures in coordination with relevant authorities and the manufacturer to remove the affected products from Omani markets. These steps reflect the ministry’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
