His Majesty the Sultan confers Military Orders on prominent Omani women

Muscat: In a profound gesture of royal appreciation, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has bestowed the Oman Military Order (Second and Fourth Degree) upon a select group of female officers and civilian professionals.

Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, presented the order today at Al Barakah Palace. The Royal Commendation Order (Second Class) was conferred upon Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish Al Zaabi, Sayyida Sana Hamad Saud Al Busaidi, Amina Saud Salim Bahwan Al Mukhaini, Dr. Hanan Abdulaziz Yahya Al Kindi, Dr. Nadia Suleiman Ali Al Kharousi and Dr. Rima Mansour Sabeel Al Zedjali.

Furthermore, His Majesty the Sultan conferred Oman Military Order (Fourth Class) on Colonel (Physician) Sheikha Ali Mohammed Al Abri and Colonel (Physician) Azza Hilal Nasser Al Maawali, Physician Kamla Suleiman Khalaf Al Kharousi, Physician Badriya Saleh Mahmoud Al Farsi, Physician Kawkab Salim Said Al Balushi, Physician Lamis Mohammed Redha Hassan and Civil Officer Suad Nasser Sultan Al Harbi.

The conferment of these orders comes in appreciation from His Majesty for these female figures’ prominent efforts and tangible achievements, each within her respective field of expertise.
