Muscat: A telephone call took place between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi and Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.
The call addressed regional development, with the Ministers exchanging views on regional relations, developments on the Iranian nuclear issue and efforts to support pathways to de-escalation.
They also discussed calls for a return to the negotiating table to reach balanced and fair solutions to outstanding issues in a manner that safeguards the legitimate rights of all parties and preserves the security and stability of the region.
