Public Prosecution to hold annual conference this Monday

Muscat— The Public Prosecution will convene its annual conference this coming Monday under the theme "The Perception of Procedural Justice." The conference will examine key data and statistical indicators pertaining to the Public Prosecution's performance over the preceding year.

The analytical review will encompass the total volume of cases processed by the Public Prosecution, the legal resolutions applied—including case dismissals and referrals to the judiciary—as well as statistics on defendants, verdicts rendered and executed, prevalent crime categories, and other pertinent information.

The convening of this conference reflects the Public Prosecution's commitment to fostering public engagement, reaffirming its dedication to the principles of the rule of law, and consolidating its transparent approach in disclosing performance indicators and outcomes. This initiative is aligned with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
