Oman And Switzerland review progress of Iranian American consultations

Muscat: Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, held a telephone call with Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Federal Council and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Switzerland.

During the call, Al Busaidi expressed his appreciation for Switzerland’s efforts in facilitating logistical arrangements and creating a conducive environment for the consultations and meetings linked to the ongoing Iranian–American negotiations currently mediated by Oman in Switzerland.

Both sides reviewed the mediation efforts underway and discussed their progress toward achieving shared objectives aimed at ensuring their success.

The two ministers also praised the spirit of cooperation between Oman and Switzerland, reaffirming their commitment to continued joint action that serves mutual interests, supports stability efforts, and enhances regional security.
