Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Information, took part in a virtual meeting of the undersecretaries of information ministries from the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The meeting discussed ways to enhance media coordination among GCC countries in order to highlight unified Gulf positions regarding current developments.
Participants also reviewed mechanisms for coordinated media engagement in addressing the repercussions of these developments on the security and stability of the region, and emphasized the importance of strengthening joint media efforts among GCC member states.
