Muscat— The Ministry of Interior issued a decision specifying the timeframe for submitting candidacy applications for the Fourth Term Municipal Council elections, scheduled to take place from Sunday, 5 April until Thursday, 23 April 2026.
Additionally, the decision stipulated that the final deadline for withdrawing any submitted candidacy applications will be Thursday, 29 October 2026.
The Ministry has extended an invitation to eligible individuals who meet the required criteria for Municipal Council membership to submit their applications via the official election website at elections.om.
Interested candidates must complete the prescribed electronic form and provide all required supporting documentation through the portal as part of the formal application process.
