Qatar intercepts Iranian missile attacks targeting the country

Doha: Qatar's armed forces intercepted two waves of Iranian missile attacks around 3:30 pm and 4 pm, with explosions heard over Doha and national security alerts issued.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari urged Iran to halt its aggression, noting threats to economic and civilian sites, impacted gas production, and that Qatar has distanced itself from the conflict but is ready to defend itself. Al-Ansari stated that diplomacy requires cessation of attacks.
