Completion rate for dual carriageway project from Gas Roundabout to Bilad Sur reaches 75%

Sur: The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology continues its efforts to complete the remaining works of the dual carriageway project extending from the Gas Roundabout to Bilad Sur, which connects the Quriyat–Sur road with the Sultan Turki bin Said Road, and to complete the dualisation of the Quriyat–Sur road from the Gas Roundabout to the Bilad Sur Roundabout in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The project has achieved a completion rate of 75%, with a total cost exceeding OMR6 million. All works on the first section of the project, spanning 11.4km, have been completed, including the installation of lighting and metal barriers.
