Sayyid Theyazin meets Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

Astana- Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan received at his office today HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and his accompanying delegation.

At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister renewed his welcome to HH Sayyid Theyazin, expressing his great pleasure at this gracious visit. For his part, HH Sayyid Theyazin expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception extended to him and his accompanying delegation, affirming his commitment to supporting and enhancing prospects for cooperation between the two countries across many fields.

Then, an official talks session was held, co-chaired by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and HH Sayyid Theyazin. During the session, the two sides reviewed existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance them in line with the development visions of both nations.

The discussions focused on enriching the Omani and Kazakh economies, particularly in the fields of energy, mining, technology, tourism, education, and logistics.

The session was attended from the Omani side by Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry and His Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Bahrani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, it was attended from the Kazakh side by Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Economy, Nurlan Karshagovich Zhakupov, Chairman of the Board, Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, Minister of Energy, Nurlan Sauranbayev, Minister of Transport, Yersaiyn Kairgazievich, Minister of Industry and Construction, Arman Shakkaliyev, Minister of Trade and Integration, Aidarbek Toumatov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman and a number of officials.
