SAF Chief of Staff receives Director of UK Integrated Warfare Centre

Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office at Al Murtafa'a Camp on Tuesday Air Vice-Marshal Simon Strasdin, Director of the Integrated Warfare Centre (IWC) of the United Kingdom and the military delegation accompanying him.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed several topics of mutual interest.

In a related context, Air Vice-Marshal Simon Strasdin, Director of the Integrated Warfare Centre and his accompanying military delegation visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) on Tuesday.

Upon the guest’s arrival at the centre's headquarters, he was received by the Acting Head of the Maritime Security Centre.

During the visit, the guest and his delegation were briefed on the roles of the Maritime Security Centre and its efforts in maintaining the security and safety of the environment and navigation within the maritime zones of the Sultanate of Oman.

He also viewed the centre's facilities and the modern technologies and systems with which it is equipped.
