Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iranian Foreign Minister at Al Baraka Palace on Tuesday, June 23, 2026
Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that His Majesty the Sultan received at Al Baraka Palace His Excellency the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by His Excellency the Iranian Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Iranian-American negotiations. His Majesty listened to the Iranian side's explanations regarding the various tracks of the negotiations, expressing his support and wishes for their success in reaching a peaceful and final settlement of all outstanding issues, foremost among them the resumption and smooth flow of safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear issue, and other related matters and challenges.
