
Muscat : The "Distinguished Funded Enterprises 2026" exhibition, organised by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, opened today in Nizwa. The two-day event features 20 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and several funding agencies supporting the sector.
The exhibition aims to showcase the products and services of funded SMEs, enhance their marketing opportunities, and expand their network of relationships with investors and funding bodies. This will contribute to building effective partnerships, opening new investment horizons, and highlighting the impact of funding programs on supporting the growth and sustainability of these enterprises.
The exhibition includes participating institutions representing diverse economic sectors, including industry, consumer goods, manufacturing, construction, education, and services, reflecting the variety of economic activities and entrepreneurship in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
Issa bin Saleh Al Subaihi, Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, stated that the exhibition serves as an important platform for enabling funded enterprises to reach wider segments of consumers and investors.
Al Subaihi emphasized that this initiative embodies the efforts of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority to support entrepreneurs, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, and open new avenues for marketing and networking, thus contributing to economic development.
The exhibition allows visitors to learn about the products and services offered by participating enterprises and to meet with supporting entities to exchange experiences and explore investment opportunities.
The exhibition was inaugurated under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Mahri, Governor of Adam.
