Al Jame' Roundabout in Muscat Governorate to close temporarily

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has announced the temporary closure of Al Jame' Roundabout in Seeb to develop the roundabout and improve traffic management and engineering efficiency from August 16, 2026, until August 23, 2026.

Muscat Municipality said in a statement: “Continuing its efforts to develop Al Jame' Roundabout and improve traffic management and engineering efficiency, Muscat Municipality will implement the first phase of works, which necessitates a partial closure of the roundabout, starting Sunday evening, August 16, 2026, and continuing until dawn on Sunday, August 23, 2026.”

Muscat Municipality urges road users to adhere to traffic diversions and directional signs, exercise caution, and choose alternative routes when necessary to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure the safety of road users.
