Minister of Manpower stresses on Omanisation

Muscat: Stressing the importance of Sectoral Committees’ role in regularising the labour market, the Minister of Manpower called for preparing plans relevant to Omanisation, national workforce recruitment and training at the private sector .
The Supervisory Committee of the Joint Sectoral Committees for Omanisation held its 3rd regular meeting for 2016 under the chair of Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri. He also affirmed their keenness to follow up Omanisation plans at private establishments, as well as the Sectoral Committees’ importance in developing facilities, plans and programme for the support of entrepreneurship.
The Joint Committee for Omanisation in the Oil and Gas Sector gave a presentation on its works during the previous period.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali bin Mas'oud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, as well as the Committees' heads and members.
