Omani brothers missing at sea found dead

Muscat: Two Omani youngsters who had gone missing in Mussanah waters have been found dead, police tweeted on its official twitter handle.

“The bodies of the missing Omanis have been found. Search has been stopped,” the public authority of civil defense tweeted.

The Omani brothers had gone missing at sea last Thursday evening in the Abu Abali area of Mussanah province.

The boat, which the two siblings set off for fishing trip, was found in the adjoining Barka province shores, with no trace of the brothers.

Royal Oman Police and PACDA had pressed in helicopters, vessels and divers to find the 16-year-old Qusai and 12-year-old Luay.
