Oman State Council chairman receives Turkish Court of Cassation president

Muscat: Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council received today Ismail Rustu Cirit, President of the Court of Cassation of Turkey and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Mantheri commended the level of the bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the friendly Republic of Turkey.
The meeting touched on issues of common concern and reviewing means of promoting the bilateral relations.
On his turn, the Turkish guest hailed the historic and cultural relations binding his country and the Sultanate.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Dr. Is'haq bin Ahmed al-Busaidi, Chairman of the Supreme Court, Vice President of the Supreme Judiciary Council, Chairman of the Administrative Affairs Council for Judiciary and some honourable members of the State Council.
