Muscat: Thirty institutions took part in the second Higher Education Institutions Exhibition (Educ8te) which began under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education on Tuesday.
The exhibition is being organised by Arabian Gate Expo, with the participation of 30 institutions. Eng. Mohammed bin Abu Bakr Al Ghassani, Deputy Chairman of Majlis Al Shura patronised over the opening ceremony of the three-day exhibition at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Higher Education Institutions Exhibition aims at providing the graduates of the General Education Diploma with the opportunity to learn more about services provided by higher education institutions in the Sultanate (universities, colleges and training institutes,) including specialised and general programmes. It gives them the opportunity to meet the officials of these institutions to learn more about the appropriate opportunities for them and to share knowledge, experiences, ideas and information.
The exhibition focuses on institutions that provide education services, such as universities and colleges in the Sultanate, as well as training programmes through institutes and training services offices.
The exhibition also highlights entrepreneurship as an important goal to promote in the community through the participation of competent authorities.
