Muscat: In a ceremony held recently, the Port Services Corporation (PSC) was awarded the coveted Europe Business Assembly Prestigious International Award for the Best Regional Enterprise.
PSC was recognised for this prestigious award, based on the corporation’s impressive track record in a leading position in the sea transport, innovative technologies for maritime transshipment facilities, continuous upgrades of infrastructure and equipment and desire to continue international expansion and the welfare of workers. Also, it was based on the high quality of services provided and customer satisfaction, and safe and environmentally-friendly port infrastructure.
The award, which is another milestone in the history of the company, was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation, Saud bin Ahmed Al Nahari, at the world’s festival capital: Cannes.
PSC’s management was recognised for demonstrating high performance and effectiveness, vision and leadership, innovation, creativity, professionalism and exceptional managerial skills. The Socrates Committee of the United Kingdom nominated the corporation for the prestigious international award in quality and management spheres—‘Best Regional Enterprise.’
This is also in recognition of PSC’s excellent business reputation, effective management, and constant growth of the enterprise. Al Nahari was also presented with the title “Best Manager of the Year” and a personal certificate.
