Two arrested in Oman for counterfeiting currency

Muscat: The police command in Al Dhahirah Governorate arrested two people on charges of counterfeiting and using fake currency notes.
An official source at the Royal Oman Police said: "The Ibri police station received two reports from people who received paper currency notes of OMR50 and OMR10, which turned out to be fake. After and investigation, the accused were found and arrested."
Earlier this month, Dhofar police had arrested four expats on charges of forgery and promotion of counterfeit currency, as well as and theft using a knife.
