Health tips: Say no to fizzy drinks

It is advisable to avoid fizzy drinks during Ramadan, especially in the late hours, right before Suhoor, as they are loaded with sugar and will make you feel overly bloated, which can compromise on the quality of the digestion process, and cause a host of problems. Exchange your soft drinks with plain water, yoghurt-based beverages, and fresh juices.
