One killed after air conditioner explodes in Muscat

Muscat: One person has died and another has been injured in a fire in Muscat, after a central air-conditioning unit exploded.
According to the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance, "The civil defence and ambulance team in Muscat responded to a report of an explosion of a central air-conditioning unit in a building in Wilayat Bausher. The incident resulted in the death of one person and the injury of another, as a result of an instantaneous explosion during maintenance work."
