Muscat: The second meeting of the High Sharia Supervisory Authority at the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) gave its opinions and observations on a detailed deliberations on covering a bank request for sukuk funding programme, in addition to draft regulation relating to Islamic banking business. The authority had met on Sunday at the premises of CBO chaired by Sheikh Dr Kahlan Bin Nabhan Al Kharoosi. The meeting was briefed by a follow-up report on the actions taken on the issues discussed in the previous meeting. — Times News Service
