Muscat: Al Ansari Trading Enterprise recently celebrated an important milestone in the company’s safety records by completing 4 million safe man-hours at the Al-Amerat Waste Water Treatment Plant Project - Contract A1.
This figure represents the combined man-hours on the project without any incident or Loss Time Injury (LTI). The project scope includes the construction of a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 18MLD and associated pipeline works and two pumping stations.
Also, the contracting division of Al Ansari Trading had recently also collectively achieved 11 million safe man-hours without LTI. This demonstrated the company’s commitment to safety across the organisation and not to any client-driven project.
CEO of Al Ansari Construction unit Deepak Seru stated, “This achievement speaks of our company’s commitment towards safety and our desire to operate at the highest international safety standards. This would not have been possible without the combined efforts of the project team, quality, health, safety, environment (QHSE) team, and our client, Haya Water," he added.
The Al Ansari execution team has ensured customer satisfaction by taking care of all essential tasks. This not only requires sound technical and management skills, it also requires understanding and anticipating the local community’s requirement.
Yusuf Nalwala, Managing Director, said, “There can be no compromise when it comes to the safety of our employees, as well as surrounding communities. This is an integral part of our drive for operational excellence and it is only the way of executing projects at Al Ansari."
