Ministers approve GCC joint housing strategy

Kuwait: The 16th meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Housing Ministers concluded with participation by Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, Minister of Housing and Eng. Saif bin A’mir Al Shaqsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry.
The GCC Housing Ministers approved a number of issues the most notable of which is the joint housing strategy for the GCC States. They also approved to create the Statistical Centre for the GCC States to cover the different sectors including the housing sector in GCC.
They delegated members of the technical committee to coordinate to identify the housing data bases in the GCC States.
They also approved winning researches of the GCC Housing Award and approved the date of the next session for the award in 2020. The award and its themes will be unveiled in 2019.
