Oman Tennis: OTA committee recommends special training sessions for Fatma Al Nabhani

Muscat: The National Teams Committee of Oman Tennis Association (OTA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of association treasurer and board member Siddique Al Hashim.
During the meeting, the committee has come out with a number of recommendations to be made to the OTA board, the most important being the recommendation to invite a consultant coach to the Sultanate to train the national teams and to visit the training centres at the clubs in order to come out with a comprehensive plan for development of the sport in the country.
The committee also recommended that German coach Patrick has to organise a training camp for Fatima Al Nabhani at the tennis courts of Shangri La Hotel for one month as part of a programme for Oman’s ace player ahead of her participation in the forthcoming international events.
The meeting also recommended Siddique Al Hashmi and Sulaiman Al Rawahi shall participate in a session in Hungary under the supervision of the Olympic Solidarity Department at Oman Olympic Committee from March 21 to June 15.
