ISM clinch U-16 MCCC-Max Talent series

Muscat: Indian School Muscat (ISM) won the Under-16 Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre (MCCC) Max Talent Cricket Series 2016 organised at the Al Amerat cricket ground.
According to a statement received from ISM beat Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) by 69 runs to win the series for the second straight year.
Six teams — ISM, ISWK, ISS, MCCC, MAX-TALENT (UAE), BOC — took part in the series. The teams were divided into two groups and was played in a 25-over format.
The U-16 series also saw Parithosh Bhatt of ISM win the best all-rounder award.
However ISM finished runner-up in the U-13 series with ISWK winning the title. The 20-over format series also saw the six teams taking part with ISWK's Aman Present winning the best all-rounder award.
Max-Talent (UAE) won the Under-11 series with ISM finishing runner-up. Asitya Guru of ISM won the best all-rounder award.
Meanwhile, the victorious ISM team was honoured by the school recently along with other school achievers in the Oman Clusters events.
The Principal and sports committee convener were present on this occasion to motivate these students.
