Two arrested for drifting in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested two people in South Al Batinah governorate for drifting and endangering people's lives.

In a statement issued online on Sunday, ROP said: “South Al Batinah Governorate Police Department Command arrested two drivers in the Wilayat Al Rustaq after they had drifted their vehicle on a public street."

Police added: "Legal proceedings are underway."
