Islamabad: Over 300 Pakistani nationals stranded in Malaysia will be brought back home on a special flight arranged by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The announcement was made by Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
In a message posted on social media, the party wrote: "Due to closure of airspace and subsequent overstay, a number of Pakistanis were stranded in Malaysia. Upon successful diplomatic arrangements, a special flight has been arranged on directives of PM Khan to bring back 320 Pakistanis back home."
The Pakistanis were prisoners who had completed their sentences in Malaysia but were unable to travel back to their country.
