Muscat: HSBC has no plans to reduce or stop its operations in Oman amid reports that it is exiting from some countries as part of costing cutting measures.
The banks’s reaction comes after several medias reported that HSBC is considering selling its Turkey business and has plans to shrink or sell its businesses in some other markets.
“We refrain from commenting on this and confirm that the bank's operations are going all normally in Oman,” the official added.
