Muscat: Al Mouj Muscat Marathon has announced a road closure in Muscat.The routes in and around the Marathon route will be closed on 21st and 22nd February.
Access to the Al Mouj Street and 18th November Street from Sultan Qaboos Road will be open throughout on Friday,February 21, 2020.
18th November Road will be closed from 5:30am to 10:00am from the Athaiba traffic light towards the Al Mouj Muscat roundabout and Seeb corniche.
Roads between Al Ishraq Roundabout to Al Mouj Roundabout will be closed from 5:30am – 1:00pm.
Access to the Al Mouj Street and 18th November Street from Sultan Qaboos Road will be open throughout on Saturday, February 22nd. 18th November Road will be closed from 5:30am to 8:30am. It will be closed from the Airport bridge traffic light junction towards Al Mouj Muscat roundabout and Seeb corniche.
According to Al Mouj Muscat Marathon “All runners should approach Al Mouj via Sultan Qaboos Street and Al Mouj Street. Please plan your journey around the race timings and be in the race village an hour and a half early.”
