Telecommunication store robbery under investigation: Royal Oman Police

Muscat: A theft operation that happened in a telecommunications store in Al Batinah North Governorate is under investigation, an official from the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Wednesday.

“Shinas Police Station received a report from a staff member at a communications store in Shinas, Al Batinah North Governorate, about a robbery operation this morning on Wednesday at 9 am.”

An official confirmed that: “The theft operation was done by opening a hole in the roof of the shop and descending with a rope inside.”
