Dar Al Atta'a receives requests for aid during COVID-19 pandemic

Muscat: With Dar Al Atta'a following the policy of not stepping into the stages of ease and comfort until everyone stands together, and encouraging society to stand together during the good times and the bad, the organisation has asked those with limited income and families affected by COVID-19 to register for assistance, should they require it.
Dar Al Atta'a has already received more than 5,000 requests for support by those who have been affected by the pandemic, which has impacted the world at large. Registrations for aid during the time of the novel coronavirus were opened on April 1.
The assistance programme is open to both locals and expats, who can fill in online forms in both Arabic and English to make it easier for them to receive assistance, once their requests have been approved. Dar Al Atta'a has also received requests for assistance from people who do not have, at present, the financial means to pay their electricity and water bills, manage their rental and debt obligations, and afford food items and medicines.
Director of Empowerment Department at Dar Al Atta'a, Siham Al Kharousi expressed her thanks to all who supported the initiative which showcasing the solidarity of society during both good times and bad
“Dar Al Atta'a has relentlessly worked to help whoever’s been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic,” she said. “Dar Al Atta'a has continued to receive more applications through its website, www.attaoman.com, and calls on all to cooperate and support those affected by the disease, who in this case are mainly individuals with limited income, as well as and the needy families.”
