Credit Oman advises exporters to tap its services

Muscat: Oman Export Guarantee Agency (Credit Oman) called upon exporters and manufacturer business owners to benefit from the services and insurance solutions, which the agency offers to guarantee the rights of business owners and secure the value of their sales amid current global conditions imposed by COVID-19 pandemic.
Credit Oman said its services are worth considering at a time the pandemic compelled the governments of some countries to impose different political and precautionary restrictions, including suspension of business at banks and financial outlets, which entails delays in payment to Omani exporters.
Credit Oman imparted its concerns to exporters and makers about the risks of delay or failure of reception of commercial dues payable by local and international buyers.
It is through the insurance policy that exporters can obtain their financial dues without hurdles and then proceed with sale and export without incurring financial losses, said Credit Oman.
In its statement, the agency reaffirmed its full commitment to support local exporters, makers and salespersons through insurance solutions designed specially to meet the needs of beneficiaries amid coronavirus pandemic.
