House used for illegal tobacco trade raided in Oman

Muscat: A residential house in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate was raided for violation of decisions issued by the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.

North Al Sharqiyah Municipalities said in a statement: "In coordination with Royal Oman Police (ROP), Al Mudhaibi Municipality has raided an apartment house used by expatriate workers to practice packaging and trade of tobacco. Legal procedures have been taken against the violators."

Meanwhile the Municipality has also raided a shop, that was sewing clothes for men, in violation of rules and legal procedures were completed against them.
