Coronavirus: MoSD asks owners to reduce, exempt rent for nurseries

Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) asks lessors of nurseries to consider the current conditions, either by reducing or exempting rents.

The Ministry said in a statement: "We called upon the owners of real estate leased to nurseries to observe the current conditions affected by the precautionary measures, whether by exemption or by reducing rents, in line with the national efforts to get out of these exceptional situations with minimal damages and in light of the facilities approved by the state to mitigate the economic and social effects resulting from the repercussions of Covid-19 pandemic."
