Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 1,311 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Saturday.
Among those, 233 new cases were of expats and 1,078 of Omanis.
The total cases in the country has now touched 65,504, including recoveries and deaths, according to MOH.
42,772 persons have recovered from COVID-19 so far.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
