Muscat: The discovery of antibodies, which attack the coronavirus and completely neutralise it, can lead to a breakthrough in finding the coronavirus vaccine, the scientists from the National Center for Infectious Diseases and the Science, Technology and Research Agency of Singapore have announced.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "The scientists from the National Center for Infectious Diseases and the Science, Technology and Research Agency of Singapore have announced the discovery of antibodies which attack the coronavirus and completely neutralised it."
The scientists from the National Center for Infectious Diseases and the Science, Technology and Research Agency also indicated, "This breakthrough could lead to the discovery of a vaccine and confirmation of the effectiveness of a vaccine," the statement added.
