Muscat: Continuing with its expansion plans, Oman’s Majan Travel Group inaugurated its new office in the capital on Monday, with the company officials saying the move aims to increase the travel agency’ presence in key growth markets.
The Vice Chairman of the Muscat Overseas Group, Sheikh Salim bin Mustahail Al Mashani, inaugurated the agency’s new office at Ruwi’s Musandam building.
The event was attended by several prominent members of the group, heads of the airline industry and corporate clients of the group.
Speaking on the occasion, Al Mashani hailed the growth of Majan Travels during the last 27 years saying the group has made landmark achievements in the travel industry and “stands today as one of the market leaders.”
Company officials said the corporate office was opened to further strengthen the company’s expansion programme, which is aimed at increasing its presence in key growth markets.
“We now have a complete team under one roof and we will aim to invest even more time and efforts in enhancing our quality of business. This will help us to further develop business in the Sultanate of Oman,” Shahas Haneef, general manager of Majan Travels, said.
He said, “We take a moment on this special day to reflect on the long story of Majan Travel’s growth and progress. We move ahead to a future with confidence of assured achievement and success.” The company said it has plans to further establish branches all over the Sultanate and has plans to open three more branches this year.
