Agreement signed by Minister of Energy and Minerals

Muscat: The Minister of Energy and Minerals has signed an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement with EOG Resources Inc to explore oil in block 36 in a transaction with APEX Oman. 

The Ministry said in a statement, "This concession area is 18556 square kilometres, located in the Empty Quarter basin in the southwestern part of the Sultanate."
