Central market for fish in Oman to be closed for Eid Al-Adha holidays

Muscat: The central wholesale market for fish will be closed from July 30 to August 2, the Ministery of Agriculture and Fisheries said.

A statement issued online said: "The Ministry would like to inform that the central wholesale market for fish will be closed for a period of 4 days on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha holiday, starting from Thursday, July 30, 2020 to Sunday, August 2, 2020."

"Merchants and marketers who are registered at the market must purchase appropriate quantities of fish to ensure that fish markets and outlets selling other fish products are supplied with sufficient quantities during the closing period," the statement added.
