Abandoned house raided in Muttrah

Muscat: Officials of the Muscat Municipality have raided an abandoned house in the wilayat of Muttrah and unearthed illegal business activities.

The Municipality said in a statement: "Muscat Municipality in Muttrah Al-Kubra carried out a raid on an abandoned house in the state and expatriate workers were found violating usage conditions byt using it as a place to practice ironing and washing of clothes without obtaining a municipal license, which contravenes the provisions of Administrative Resolution No. 55/2017 regarding the administrative penalties for violations of the Muscat Municipality."
