Muscat: Oman Development Bank (ODB) has worked on increasing its finance to the industry sector by offering loans worth more than OMR120 million.
Oman Development Bank seeks to provide support and attractive facilities to the manufacturing sector in consistent with the efforts extended for enhancement of national industries and for the achievement of in-country value products.
Oman Development Bank will participate with industrialists in the Sultanate in celebrating Omani Industry Day, which falls on 9th February every year.
Oman Development Bank continually seeks provision of the necessary services and products required for the development of the projects in the industry sector.
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hinai, Chairman of Oman Development Bank said that “Omani Industry Day is a national celebration for industrialists and all supporters of the industry sector with the achievements and industrial projects bagged in the Sultanate”.
He said that the five-year plans of the Sultanate reflected the significance of manufacturing sector. He added that the loans granted to the manufacturing sector represented over 40 per cent of the total finance offered by Oman Development Bank during the last five years.
