Oman, Turkey review bilateral relations

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received on Wednesday Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs.

After Sayyid Fahd welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation, the growing relations between the two friendly countries and means of promoting cooperation between them were reviewed in all economic and trade fields, in addition to encouraging joint ventures. Current regional and international issues and developments were also reviewed.

The Turkish Minister conveyed greetings of the leadership of Turkey to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik. He expressed the importance of visiting the Sultanate due to its positive outcomes at the level of exchanging visions on several matters of concern to the two countries.

The Turkish Minister also affirmed his country's appreciation to the balanced policy pursued by Oman in its international relations, as well as the Sultanate's support to paths of understanding among nations. He also commended the talks he conducted with the Omani Foreign Ministers and officials.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Ayse Sozen Usluer, Turkish Ambassador to the Sultanate.
