Muscat: The highest temperature in Oman was recorded in Bidiyah station in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the Oman Meteorology announced.
A statement issued online by the Oman Meteorology said: "Bidiyah station recorded 50.5 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the weather stations on Tuesday. Qairoon Hiriti station in Dhofar Governorate recorded 23.4 degrees as the lowest temperature."
