Muscat: A temporary road diversion will be made from Saturday morning, July 17, on the road from Nizwa to Muscat, within Al-Rusayl-Nizwa dual carriageway, near Sayyh Al-Ahmer area located in Bidbid.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, (MTCIT), said: "In light of the current efforts to construct the 3rd and 4th lanes on Al-Rusayl-Nizwa dual carriageway from Muscat Expressway interchange to Al-Sharqya expressway interchange (Pt1), the MTCIT would like to bring to your attention that starting from Saturday's morning, July 17 2021, a temporary road diversion will be constructed on the road heading from Nizwa to Muscat within Al-Rusayl-Nizwa dual carriageway near Sayyh Al-Ahmer area that is located in Bidbid, in cooperation with The Royal Oman Police. This procedure will continue until the completion of the additional 3rd and 4th lanes project related works being constructed at the same location."
"We urge all motorists to be cautious and follow the instructive signboards for their safety," added the statement.
