Oman ranked 1st in Asia and Arab world in Quality of Life Index

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is ranked 8th in the world and first in Asia and the Arab world in the Quality of Life Index 2023, according to the Numbeo.

Globally, the Netherlands came first, followed by Denmark and Switzerland. As for the Arab world, the UAE is ranked second (15th globally), followed by Qatar (20th globally), Saudi Arabia (32nd globally), and Kuwait (49th globally).

 Numbeo's 2023 Quality of Life Index is based on several criteria, including cost of living, purchasing power, housing affordability, pollution, crime rates, health system quality, and traffic.
