Police arrest residents for involvement in illegal immigration in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two residents on charges of smuggling operations and helping them illegally enter the Sultanate of Oman.

A statement issued online by ROP said: ”The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation arrested two residents of Arab nationalities for their involvement in smuggling operations, and the transfer of five infiltrators of African nationalities to the Sultanate of Oman.”

Expat arrested for vandalism, theft

In another incident, Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command arrested an expatriate of Asian nationality on charges of vandalism and theft of electric cables from several houses under construction in the Wilayat of Ibri. The legal procedures are being completed against him.
