Cyclone 'Tej': 30 active shelters to accommodate over 4,000 people in Dhofar

Muscat: The number of active shelter centres in Dhofar Governorate so far has reached 30, in which there are more than 4,000 people.

Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that the Relief and Shelter Sector confirmed that the readiness of shelter centres in Dhofar Governorate has been enhanced.

 "The number of equipped centres has become 69 shelter centers in Dhofar Governorate, with a capacity of more than about 15,000 people. While the number of active centres so far has reached 30, in which there are 4,471 people, including 840 Omanis and 3,631 residents, " ONA added.
